RTD input unit

  

The new module determines temperatures with extreme precision and is easy to use. The temperature data obtained using the RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) is converted to the digital value to be read by the FP0/FPS control unit.

  • The module can be easily installed in an existing system.
  • Multiple RTD types are allowed in one module, yielding a cost-effective solution.
  • The temperature data measured can be converted to either degrees Celsius or degrees Fahrenheit inside the FP0 RTD unit.
  • A broken RTD can be detected.


Available RTD types:
Pt100 (to IEC751), Pt1000 (to IEC751), Ni1000 (to DIN43760)

Insulation method

  • Between thermocouple input terminals and control unit internal circuits: photo-coupler insulation/DC-DC insulation
  • Between thermocouple input terminal channels: PhotoMOS relay insulation
  • Up to three units can be added to each control unit enabling temperature control of up to 24 channels.
  • Broken thermocouples can be detected.
